Secure your Leeds property with a professionally fitted security door
Security doors are designed to improve protection against forced entry, but the door itself is only part of the setup. For maximum protection, the frame, hinges, lock and hardware all need to be securely installed and adjusted so the door opens, closes and locks properly.
Leeds Lock Doc fits security doors for residential and commercial customers across the local area, from homes in Headingley, Roundhay and Horsforth to shops and businesses around Leeds city centre, Holbeck and Hunslet. Tom focuses on accurate fitting, reliable performance and quality workmanship.

What security doors do we install?
Tom can install all types of customer-supplied security doors, including steel security doors, high security entrance doors, side and rear doors, garage access doors and robust steel doors used on commercial and industrial premises.
A house may need a stronger front or side entrance, while businesses may use single or double steel doors for staff entry points, service yards or stock areas. If your door set includes panic hardware, vision panels, louvres or other supplied components, provide the details before fitting.

How does the installation process work?
You supply the door and have it delivered to the property, then Tom takes care of the fitting. Before installation, provide information about the existing opening, the door being removed where applicable and the make, model and instructions for the new door set.
Tom can remove the old door and frame where required, prepare the opening, fit and level the new frame, hang the door and fit the supplied hinges and hardware. He can then fit the lock, cylinder and handles, adjust the setup and test the door so it closes flush, latches correctly and operates smoothly.
If the manufacturer specifies particular fixings or approved components, these should be supplied with the door or identified in its instructions. If your security door carries a rating such as PAS 24, RC2, RC3 or LPS 1175, provide the relevant documentation before fitting.
Correct fitting is critical to helping the complete door set provide the security, safety and durability it was designed for.
